It is difficult to believe that it has almost been 1 year since this Global Pandemic began. We have reached the point where we have gotten used to it, that the life we once knew pre-pandemic is a thing of the past. Things will never quite be the same. Through these trying times, CSI hopes to offer hope to everyone through our encouraging, lighthearted, and inspiring posts daily on social media. We can all use some smiles in today’s world.
It can often become second-nature to develop a negative worldview, this can be attributed to life stresses that we face. Often, the pain and uncertainty become too heavy to bear. When we are brought down by life circumstances, we can choose to find the goodness in life through HOPE. Hope is a powerful remedy to cure feelings of pain and desolation. Having Hope does not mean that you cannot feel sad or distress. It just means that your view of circumstances goes beyond what you feel in the moment. Hope brings perspective and can get you through the hardest times. What are ways to comfort ourselves and cultivate positivity?
- Seek Inspiration: Hope requires dependence on something greater than yourself. Prayer & Meditation is a good place to start.
- Surround Yourself with Positivity: We become what we surround ourselves with.
- Get Involved in Your Community: Helping others out lets us see that there is good amidst the bad.
- Celebrate: Birthdays and holidays offer us something to look forward to.
