Kaizen (continuous improvement) to find the right job

Even though the unemployment rate is recently decreasing, it does not automatically mean that you could be getting a job instantly, or the right job for that matter. If you are aiming for a blue-collar job, it could be easy for you to one on Craigslist over the weekend; however, if you are a professional, you need to give more effort to acquire competitive advantages in this intensive “battle” of securing employment. In addition, the opening of H1B on April 1 is just around corner; and honestly speaking, you really do not have plenty of time in finding the right job while (and if) you are still working on your career goals.

However, it is not as complicated as it seems. If you started the year 2012 right, next step to achieve your career goals is to MOVE FORWARD. In terms of employment, you need to continuously improve yourself. There is a popular Japanese term, KAIZEN, indicating “continuous improvement.” Kaizen is originally a Japanese management concept. In the business filed, Kaizen is considered as imperative to making your business successful. Kaizen calls for never-ending efforts for improvement involving everyone in organization – managers and employees alike. Even for individual, the continuous improvement process for oneself is very important.

Everyone needs some kind of help, at some point. Accepting this truth will not only make you a humble person, but a “real” person who knows his/her limitations and who is open for improvement through different means. If you think that you do not need anyone’s help, you just do not recognize that at some instance in your life, you were actually been helped by someone or a bunch of people, even. Finding a good mentor always makes your life easier, particularly in the continuous improvement of yourself just as the Kaizen process drives you to face your reality and its challenges.

CSI aims to be a good mentor to you in helping you find the right job and sponsoring company.
